Meet the visionary behind Figure 8 and the globally celebrated Museum of Ice Cream, Maryellis Bunn. Since the inception of the brand in 2016, Maryellis has transformed Museum of Ice Cream from a small, temporary installation in New York City into an international sensation, captivating the hearts of millions of visitors worldwide.
A distinguished alumna of New York University and Parsons School of Design, Maryellis holds dual degrees in business and design — a fusion of skills that has been instrumental in her creative journey. Her passion for innovation and design led her to previously serve as the Head of Innovation at Time Inc., where she honed her abilities to push boundaries and reimagine the future.
With an impressive portfolio that includes roles as a creative consultant and design strategist for industry giants from Meta to Staples, Maryellis has left her mark on the creative landscape. Her ability to spin dreams into reality has earned her recognition as a Forbes’ 30 Under 30 All-Star, one of Ad Age’s 50 Most Influential Creative Figures, and the title of “The Millennial Walt Disney” from New York Magazine.
Originally hailing from Laguna Beach, California, Maryellis now calls Mexico City, Mexico, her home — a place where her boundless creativity continues to flourish. With Maryellis at the helm, Figure 8 thrives as a beacon of innovation and immersive experiences, shaping the future of the industry.
Since Manish and Maryellis launched the first Museum of Ice Cream pop-up together in 2016, Manish has been essential not only in bringing the vision to life but in ensuring that success continues to spur the company to new heights. With an illustrious career that has seen him pivot from investment banking to experiential design, Manish brings a unique blend of financial acumen and creative flair to the forefront of the brand.
A graduate in Economics from Yale University, Manish’s journey began as an investment banker before he embarked on a path of innovation, art and immersive experiences. Today, he spearheads the business and operational aspects of the brand, playing a pivotal role in Figure 8’s phenomenal growth.
Before venturing into experiential design alongside Maryellis Bunn, Manish served as the CEO of the cutting-edge experience-tech venue, Lightbox.
He also co-founded the contemporary art platform Grey Area, where he cultivated art partnerships with distinguished names such as Helmut Lang, Stella McCartney, the Guggenheim Museum, Smart Car and Bergdorf Goodman. Originally from Wayland, Massachusetts, Manish Vora now calls Austin, Texas, home.
As the Head of Production, Development and Food and Beverage, Gabrielle Yacoob is the driving force that ensures perfection for all who step into our spaces.
Armed with a degree in Communications from the University of Southern California, Gabrielle has dedicated her career to crafting spaces, narratives and offerings that ignite joy and kindle the flames of imagination for all of our visitors.
As the Senior Vice President of Development & Construction at Figure 8, Bob plays a vital role in directing and overseeing worldwide development and expansion efforts, encompassing locations in major cities around the world.
With over three and a half decades of experience in Commercial Real Estate Development and Construction, Bob is renowned for his remarkable ability to consistently achieve outstanding results. He excels as a team builder, naturally assuming leadership and motivator roles, while his global expertise shines through in his adept management of diverse projects, including the construction of over a thousand retail stores across the globe.
His extensive skill set spans Investor Management, Site Selection, Land Acquisition, Entitlement, Design & Architecture, Construction, Contracts, Construction Litigation and Quality Assurance Programs.
As Chief of Staff, Carmen’s passion for driving organizational excellence and efficiency keeps Figure 8 squarely on the path to success.
With an impressive background in guest and event services, Carmen is a key advisor to the company’s leadership team, collaborating closely with the CEO to ensure the seamless execution of Figure 8’s vision.
Erin Levzow, the Chief Marketing Officer of Figure 8 and Museum of Ice Cream is a seasoned marketing professional who seamlessly blends marketing mastery with an emphasis on growth. With a knack for transforming ideas into captivating narratives, Erin plays a pivotal role in crafting the messaging to bring a global audience into our world.
Erin’s impressive career journey includes working with renowned brands, such as Del Taco Restaurants, Marcus Hotels and Resorts, Wingstop and MGM Resorts, where she honed her strategic acumen and marketing prowess.
When she’s not brainstorming the next wave of brand activations, Erin enjoys traveling for competitive ballroom dancing and spending time with her husband and three children in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Jenn Bouchard is the Chief People and Administration Officer at Figure 8 and Museum of Ice Cream.
In this role, Bouchard is responsible for driving the employee culture and overseeing the functionality of company staff that allows the brand and spaces to curate experiences that inspire imagination, connection, and joy for all guests .
Jenn previously worked at Meta for 11 years, starting as the first (and only) employee dedicated to executive, internal communications and employee engagement.
A graduate of the University of Alabama with a dual degree in Public Relations Communications and Political Science degree, Bouchard brings a growth-oriented and success-driven mindset to the Museum of Ice Cream team.
At Figure 8, she’s the conductor of initiatives and policies that champion the brand’s long-standing culture of inclusivity, innovation, productivity and intra-departmental efficiency that delivers a thriving culture worldwide.
As Chief Financial Officer at Figure 8, Devin spearheads the company’s financial strategy and leads its Finance and Accounting functions.
Devin brings a proven track record of financial leadership and experience in multi-unit operations, most recently serving as CFO for WeWork’s Americas division.
His career journey includes progressive financial experience at Paramount (formerly Viacom) and Transit Wireless, a NYC tech communications start-up.
Devin graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and received an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
